Dark tales - Twited Magic

Dark Tales. Twisted Magic

An old tree isn't just a tree. A midway isn't just bright lights, fun rides, and top prizes. A fairy tale isn't always the end of the story. History isn't just something that happened randomly. My mind is always asking, "What if?" The answers become the stories I write.

Horror isn't about monsters crawling out of the dark forest. It's about the questions that linger in the back of your mind. It's about the things that don't quite add up. I love exploring the places where history, folklore, and magic collide—where the stories we've always accepted begin to unravel. Whether it's an ancient fairy tale, a forgotten carnival, a hunger that can't be satiated, or a moment in history, every story tugs that loose thread—until the veil grows thin.

I'm an author from Western New York whose imagination has always leaned into the dark. Before I published my own novels, I spent more than a decade contributing short stories to charity anthologies, learning the craft one story at a time.

My husband has long since learned that an offhand comment might become an entire novel. My grandkids ask wonderfully innocent questions that somehow lead my imagination into much darker places. Time outdoors, history books, forgotten folklore, and everyday conversations all have a way of becoming stories. I've learned that inspiration rarely announces itself—it simply waits for someone willing to notice the loose thread everyone else walked past.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll find a world that keeps you asking, "What if?" long after you've turned the final page.
